FONDATION DRG SCHOLARSHIP UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA OF CANADA

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM (PHD) YEAR 2021-2022

“Fondation DRG’s support allowed us to recruit a top-notch postdoctoral fellow from France to come to our lab in Canada and conduct research on outdoor play among grandparents and grandchildren. Not only does this represent the first research into this topic, but it also facilitates building collaboration and sharing the latest ideas across Canada and France to develop truly cutting edge work that will benefit both nations.

I am grateful for the support of the Fondation RDG which enables me to make my research project possible. The grant helps me to further my research on outdoor play between grandparents and grandchildren in an optimal environment and with the necessary resources. Thanks to this grant, I can broaden my mind in a new cultural environment while also better considering the cultural specificities of grandparenting. I hope that the research that I am conducting this year will help to improve the quality of family relationships. As I begin my research career, being a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia gives me the tools to settle my career and develop new ideas for research”.
